Terms of Service

Welcome to Birdie. These terms govern your use of getbirdie.uk (the "Service"), operated by Robin Turner ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Birdie, you agree to these terms.

1. What Birdie Does

Birdie lets you set a flight route, a target date window, and a maximum price. We check flight prices daily using third-party flight data providers and email you when a matching fare is found. Birdie is an alerting tool - it does not guarantee availability or pricing accuracy at the time you attempt to book, and prices shown may have changed or sold out by the time you act on an alert.

2. Accounts

You need an account (via Google or email sign-in) to use Birdie. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Birdie.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• Birdie is a paid subscription service, billed monthly (£4.99) or annually (£50) via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime through your account's billing management page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of your current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
• We may change our prices with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Flight Data and Booking

• Flight prices and availability are provided by third-party data sources (including Duffel) and are not guaranteed to be accurate, current, or bookable at the time you view them.
• Birdie may provide links to third-party booking partners (including Kiwi.com) and travel insurance providers (including World Nomads). We are not the seller, travel agent, or insurer for these bookings - you are booking directly with the third party, subject to their own terms.
• We may receive a commission when you book or purchase through these links, at no extra cost to you. This does not influence which flights we show you.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party listings, the outcome of any booking, or any dispute between you and a third-party provider.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Birdie for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including attempting to overload our systems
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute data obtained through Birdie without permission

6. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Birdie running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to give notice of material changes affecting paid subscribers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Birdie is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Missed deals, price changes, or unavailability of flights shown in an alert
• Losses arising from your reliance on flight price or availability information
• Any issue arising from a booking made through a third-party link

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You may stop using Birdie and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
